Backbend workshop for advanced students & teachers with Nives
Dec 28 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Backbend workshop for advanced students & teachers with Nives

We will explore how to prepare and practice advanced asanas.
To attend this workshop you should be able to do Udvha Dhanurasana and Sirsasana, with or without the wall.
It takes trust, patience, vulnerability and a willingness to let go and find a soft touch.
Advanced poses demand strenght, flexibility and will power.
To do advanced poses takes many years of practice, here we will develop step by step practices to reach one day the final pose.
Once the final pose is reached we start to develop endurance and patience, exploring the asana in its inner most intensity, finding the subtleness and softness.
The performance of an asana includes going into, staying and coming out of the asana.
