“Iyengar” Yoga is named after the renowned Indian yoga teacher B.K.S .Iyengar.
He stresses the importance of good body alignment, concentration, breath, and awareness. Iyengar Yoga practice is refined and focused. You will be guided to move strategically from one asana (posture) to the next.  By focusing on details and precise movements you will clear your mind of built up stresses and gain peace and mental clarity.

Different props are used to support you in order to experience the pose in the most refined and aligned manner. Each class has a special focus, such as hip opening or back bends. Each class ends with a deep relaxation on the back to enable the body and mind to become calm and relaxed.
