New to yoga? Whether you already have an established exercise routine or are just starting one, this workshop will provide you a solid foundation to join in our other classes. Learn the importance of posture and how to find the right sitting position for you. Understand the basic breathing techniques to help you focus on the mat. Discover the modification that works best for your body as we explore some of yoga’s foundational poses, including Sun Salutations, basic backbend, twist, and forward folds. Enjoy the art of relaxation in Savasana, our final resting pose.

To attend this workshop you should be able to do Udvha Dhanurasana and Sirsasana, with or without the wall.
It takes trust, patience, vulnerability and a willingness to let go and find a soft touch.
Advanced poses demand strenght, flexibility and will power.
To do advanced poses takes many years of practice, here we will develop step by step practices to reach one day the final pose.
Once the final pose is reached we start to develop endurance and patience, exploring the asana in its inner most intensity, finding the subtleness and softness.
The performance of an asana includes going into, staying and coming out of the asana.
